Governance & Accountability
Phase I governance is lean but explicit: leadership, counsel, and administration. This creates legitimacy and protects the long-term institutional vision.
Leadership
| Office | Role | Scope (Phase I) |
|---|---|---|
| Chancellor / Founder | Vision & Mandate | Final oversight, doctrinal guardianship, institutional direction. |
| Academic Council | Advisory & Review | Curriculum feedback, integrity review, teaching standards. |
| Registrar | Records & Certificates | Enrollment logs, completion verification, certificate issuance. |
| Operations | Systems & Logistics | Digital campus upkeep, resources, publishing, processes. |
Phase I Build Rule: Keep governance simple, documented, and reviewable.
Complexity is introduced only when the system can carry it.
Council Structure (Prototype)
- 2–5 external theological advisors (remote acceptable)
- 1 external reviewer for major program changes (optional)
- Annual curriculum review and compliance check
- Published standards for certificate issuance
Future-Ready Notes
This governance layout is built to scale into Phase II: Dean offices, faculty roles, research standards, degree catalog approvals, and accreditation documentation workflows.
